Salford City Reds have launched their new Infomation Centre / Retail Outlet and Press Resource in the classroom in The Willows stadium itself.

On match days the facility will give the club extra retail space and allow fans who have already passed through the turnstyle the opportunity to buy official merchandise in the ground.

While they are in there they are welcome to browse our new Information Centre where they will find up to date information from all the departments including the latest from Marketing and Media, Lottery, Commercial and of course thr Football Department.

The Team Sheet will be posted on the boards as soon as it is obtained from the dressing rooms an hour before Kick Off making the Centre the first place the fans can get the low-down on who's been selected.

There is also a section containing photographs of fans and if you spot one of yourself you are welcome to take it away.

So if you need to pick up a leaflet, get info on upcoming ticket prices or simply check the fixtures and standings make sure you head on by.

Press Conference

During the week and after the match the Centre also doubles as our Media Centre. The day prior to a home match the club holds a pre-match press conference with local TV, Radio and Newspaper journalists, giving them the chance for the first time to talk with Kalr Harrison, Malcolm Alker and Steve Simms about the upcoming fixture.

This helps to increase Salford City Reds profile in the press and gives journalists top level access to the men that matter most.

After a game, reporters can request players as well as the coaches of both teams for interviews and a formal post-match press conference is held too. This is where the quotes you see in the press the next day originate from.

Reds' Marketing Manager Paul McNally said: "With events on the pitch going so well it is important for us to match this with our off-field activities. We have a big couple of months looming with our new stadium's Public Enquiry so we are preparing ourselves with everything we do now so that it fits in with our future too."
