Chris signed before the start of the 2003 campaign from Hull K.R. where he was club skipper having previously been with Hull Boys before turning professional with the Robins. A talented goal kicker, Chris amassed 214 points for Salford in 2003, scoring 10 tries and kicking 87 goals. In his first Super League Season, Chris has made the loose forward position his own and scooped Karl Harrison’s Player of the Year Award in 2004.
