Gareth has gained a big reputation at the Willows as an impact player and is rated highly by Karl Harrison. Originally playing for Blackbrook A.R.L, Gareth turned professional with Widnes and then moved to St Helens. A GB BARLA under 18 and under 21 representative he has also played for Lancashire at under 21 level. The son of ex St Helens forward Roy Haggarty he has now become a regular member of the Irish squad.
