Joined Salford from Wigan Warriors prior to the 2007 season and despite strong competition he continues to keep his place in the Reds front row after making his first team debut for Wigan in 2005,the highly regarded front row forward tried his luck in Australia but broke his thumb and returned to Wigan.

At Salford he made his debut against Leeds Rhinos in the opening fixture of Super League XII and made is appearance before breaking his leg. Despite that setback he bounced back and prior to the 2013 campaign, had made 112 appearances for the Reds.
